Pink and the DEAD!

One might not think that pink goes with something like the zombie apocalypse but it can. I am a huge Walking Dead fan but I also love pink so how to marry these two together is simple. Killing zombies doesn't mean you have to lose all fashion sense. You can be a pink killing machine if you only now what to buy. For example, I have a survival bug out bag (yes, I really do) in the trunk of my car. It contains, packs of water, packs of tuna, some candy bars and a change of clothes with some shoes all neatly packed in a pink back pack.  Here are samples of my items.
The back pack!

I also think that a fishing vest like this could help too. It could help in keeping bullets, knives, toilet paper and other useful items!

I bought myself a hunting knife that looks like this but without the skulls. It's just all pink but I like this one too. My daughter also has a pink cross bow. You can tell she's a Daryl Dixon fan!
Of course you would need binoculars to see where the zombies are. Again, zombies don't care what I wear, but I do and the proper accessories need not be ugly. This pair of binoculars is small, sleek, useful and pink.

Here are some more items you can stash in your car that might help in a zombie emergency.

A good pair of hiking boots! Weatherproof and an extra pair of socks.

A rope bracelet. I have one exactly like this and I keep it in my purse. There are tons of blogs and even Youtube videos that show what you can do with this little helper.

A good water bottle. Preferably one that is BPA free and comes with a water purifier. This one is just a picture I found...pretty.

Get a few "one person" tents. I actually bought one just like this (but green) for my husband. He used to use it when he was out in the field with the Army. It works!

And of course, no zombie apocalypse would be complete without proper fire power!
See killing zombies can be done in pink!

Until next time...stay pink!

A pink Valentine's Day

With Valentine's day being so close, I am thinking about what to wear. Of course I am going pink. Unlike most women who love the red roses on V-Day I prefer pink roses...shock right?
I have always loved pink roses. I know other roses are beautiful. Red is passion, yellow is friendly and white is pure but pink....

I'm getting off subject.
Every year my husband tries to surprise me with some romantic place for Valentine's day and this year is no different. The only difference is he wants to go somewhere where we have to dress up. Now I am not a millionaire so I am unable to afford the kinds of clothes that I would love to wear. I went to Pinterest and checked on virtual closet.

I found a beautiful faux fur coat I could use.

I love this outfit but on a more casual day...moving on.

This outfit is beautiful but maybe a little much.

This is one is more diva then romantic. Keep looking.

I would love to wear this pink halter dress as a nod to Marilyn Monroe but I am not sure that this qualifies for "dressed up." In the end I've decided to wear a little black dress and just accessorize in pink. These beautiful pink glitter nails are going to look very nice with my new dress.
I would love to claim to own a ring like this but I don't. I do have a very beautiful (fake) pink diamond ring that looks close. So this works.

I have a necklace that looks like this. Of course, it too is fake but beautiful!

In the end I know that I will have a great time with a little bubble' and a lot of love.

Until next time...
There's always room for pink in your life!

Welcome to my blog!

I stared this blog because I felt that there were a lot of people out there that love pink just as much as I do. Since When I started Pinterest I never thought that 1. I would get completely addicted and 2. that I would get at many followers as I have gotten. From fashion to flowers, the color pink has been my favorite color ever since I can remember. When I am sick, laying in my pink sheets makes me feel better. When I am angry or sad, my pink pillows have been the soft reminder that all will be better. I will be posting pictures from Pinterest and other related subjects on the color pink in this blog. Feel free to voice your opinions, experiences and passion for the color pink.

Until next time...have a pink day!
